Edwards, meanwhile, is a two-time middleweight title challenger in Bellator. He fell to Johnny Eblen on both occasions, most recently dropping a five-round verdict to Eblen at PFL Super Fights “Battle of the Giants.” The younger brother of ex-UFC champ Leon Edwards went 8-3 under the Bellator banner from 2019 to 2024.
Kasanganay is a former PFL champion at 205 pounds. He is coming off a first-round KO loss to Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov in the 2024 light heavyweight final. The 31-year-old has won nine of his last 11 professional outings.
