‘Amanda Serrano got robbed live on Netflix’: Pros react to Katie Taylor’s majority decision win in trilogy bout

Katie Taylor is now 3-0 against Amanda Serrano after completing their series on Friday night in New York City.

In the main event of Taylor vs. Serrano 3 at Madison Square Garden, Taylor remained the undisputed super lightweight champion with a majority decision victory over Serrano. Taylor got two of the judges’ scorecards with a 97-93 scores, while the third judge scored it a draw at 95-95.

Much like the first two battles between the two championship pedigreed boxers, the fight was very close throughout, with just a couple of moments doing enough to edge out some of the rounds. Both fighters certainly seemed a bit more reserved than they had been during the series, and that pacing certainly favored Taylor who got her hand raised in victory yet again.

Taylor did not make a decision on whether or not she would retire. With the event streaming on Netflix, pro fighters throughout boxing and MMA were tuning in.
