Andrei Arlovski vs. Tom Aspinall announced for Feb. 20 UFC event

Former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski takes on a blue chip prospect next.

The UFC announced Tuesday that Arlovski (30-19, 2 NC) is set to fight Tom Aspinall (9-2) at a Feb. 20 event with a location still to be determined.

Arlovski, a former UFC champion who turns 42 in February, makes his 34th octagon appearance. He is currently on a two-fight win streak, with consecutive decision victories over Tanner Boser and Philipe Lins in 2020.

Aspinall is unbeaten in two UFC outings so far. The Cage Warriors standout made his UFC debut in July of last year, defeating Jake Collier by TKO in just 45 seconds. He followed that up with a 95-second TKO of short-notice replacement Alan Baudot in October. The 27-year-old Englishman has won five straight fights by first-round KO/TKO and has never gone to a decision in 11 pro bouts.

A heavyweight bout between contenders Curtis Blaydes and Derrick Lewis is expected to headline the Feb. 20 UFC event.
