A bantamweight clash pitting Cody Stamann against Yadong Song has been added to the UFC on ESPN 7 lineup.
Promotion officials initially confirmed the booking to the Washington Post. UFC on ESPN 7 takes place at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., on Dec. 7 and is headlined by a heavyweight tilt between Alistair Overeem and Walt Harris.
After having a 10-fight winning streak snapped by Aljamain Sterling at UFC 228, Stamann rebounded to outpoint Alejandro Perez at UFC 235 in March. “Mr. Wonderful” is 4-1 in the UFC and 18-2 as a professional overall.
A 21-year-old Team Alpha Male export, Song is currently on a seven-bout winning streak that includes four triumphs in the UFC. Most recently, the “Kung Fu Monkey” knocked out Perez in the opening round of their encounter at UFC 239 in July.
