Bellator 238 salaries: Julia Budd tops new champ Cris Cyborg in disclosed pay

Cris Cyborg may have taken the Bellator featherweight title this past Saturday, but Julia Budd took home a bigger paycheck – at least on paper.

Budd, who lost belt via fourth-round TKO at Bellator 238, took home a flat $350,000 for her work against Cyborg, who banked a flat $250,000 for her win.

Bellator 238 took place at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif. The event’s main card streamed live on DAZN.

Cyborg’s pay is half the figure she took home in a loss to two-division champ Amanda Nunes at UFC 232, the most recent event where disclosed payouts are available. But as Bellator President Scott Coker told The Athletic, the Brazilian champ’s contract is “incentivized” and could be the biggest deal in MMA history.

It’s important to note that the figures reported to the California State Athletic Commission do not necessarily represent the fighters’ full pay. Certain sponsorship incomes, pay-per-view bonuses, or discretionary post-fight bonuses are not publicly disclosed.

Here are the full salaries for Bellator 238:
