Canelo vs. Crawford Undercard Announced for Netflix Boxing Event on Sept. 13

The powers that be are hoping that MMA fans will cross over to watch the prelims from start to finish as if this boxing card took place in a cage.

Via press release on Friday, the Ultimate Fighting Championship brass—its parent company of TKO is one of the organizational bodies involved—has revealed the 10-fight lineup for Canelo vs. Crawford. Four matches will serve on the Netflix-based main card for the Sept. 13 show that is going down in Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, while the remaining six will be streamed on various other sites like the promotion’s YouTube page.

On the preliminary portion of the event, the UFC’s Jon Anik will serve as the lead play-by-play commentator—as well as the main card—while announcer Joe Martinez will handle the particulars for the first six early bouts. The preliminary headliner comes at middleweight when Serhii Bohachuk (26-2, 24 KOs) throws down with Brandon Adams (25-4, 16 KOs). The two first met in 2021 for the WBC Continental Americas light middleweight belt, and Adams handed Bohachuk his first career defeat, knocking out the Ukrainian in the eighth frame.

Unbeaten Ivan Dychko (15-0, 14 KOs) looks to keep his winning ways intact when he throws down with fellow heavyweight Jermaine Franklin (23-2, 15 KOs). As the card continues, Reito Tsutsumi (26-2, 5 KOs) from Japan look to ply his trade against Javier Martinez (10-1-1, 3 KOs) in a super featherweight match where the two combine for eight knockouts in their combined 36 victories.

At super lightweight, two men will be seeking their first professional victory when Sultan Almohammed (0-0) comes to blows with Martin Caraballo (0-0-1). Additionally, once-beaten Steven Nelson (20-1, 16 KOs) will take on Raiko Santana (12-4, 6 KOs) in a light heavyweight contest. The night’s festivities open with a super middleweight affair pitting boxing neophyte Marco Verde (2-0, 2 KOs) against the far more experienced Marcos Osorio Betancourt (11-2-1, 8 KOs).

Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford – unified super middleweight championship
