“Horrifying!” McGregor wrote on his Instagram Stories.
The ongoing war between Israel and Palestine has drawn the attention of several MMA stars. Some fighters, such as former welterweight champion Belal Muhammad and Hall of Famer Khabib Nurmagomedov, have long been vocal in their support for Palestine and Gaza City. Meanwhile, reigning lightweight champ Ilia Topuria and former lightweight champ Islam Makhachev also recently shared similar messages.
McGregor Teasing Potential UFC Return
McGregor has been inactive since breaking his leg in a trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier in 2021. While “Notorious” teased a return multiple times, it never came to fruition. McGregor coached “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 31 against Michael Chandler, with the two expected to clash at the end of the season. When the matchup was finally scheduled after several delays at UFC 303 last year, McGregor pulled out due to a toe injury.
The Dubliner has now yet again targeted a return against Chandler at the UFC White House card planned for June 2026. While UFC boss Dana White didn’t initially sound confident about McGregor’s return, he has recently changed his tune.
