Week 6 of Dana White’s Contender Series is official.
There were no issues on the scales Monday, as all 10 athletes scheduled to compete on the latest edition UFC’s ongoing talent search hit their contracted marks.
The Contender Series takes place on Tuesday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas and airs on ESPN+ beginning at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. The evening’s featured bout is a bantamweight clash pitting Hecher Sosa (136) against Mackson Lee (135).
A native of Canary Islands, Spain, Sosa has been victorious in 12 of his 13 professional outings. He has finished his last five wins inside the distance while competing on the Spanish regional scene.
Brazil’s Lee has yet to taste defeat in nine pro appearances. The 26-year-old is coming off back-to-back stoppage victories under the Legacy Fighting Alliance banner. Lee has gone the distance just once thus far in his young career.
