Contender Series Weigh-In Results: One Fighter Comes in Heavy for Week 2

All but one of the 10 fighters slated to compete on Week 2 of Dana White’s Contender Series hit their contracted marks without issue.

Louis Lee Scott missed weight for his bantamweight clash with Kaushik Saikumar, as he tipped the scales at 137.5 pounds during Monday’s weigh-ins. Saikmar, meanwhile, checked in at 135.5 pounds.

The Contender Series takes place on Tuesday night at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas and airs on ESPN+ beginning at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. The evening’s featured bout is a featherweight scrap pitting Manuel Exposito (145.5) against Jose Mauro Delano (145).

Argentina’s Exposito has been victorious in 13 of 15 professional outings. After suffering back-to-back losses under the Combate Global banner in 2023, the 25-year-old Entram Gym representative has rebounded to win his last three fights.

Delano has lost just once in his last 15 appearances. The 28-year-old Brazilian has competed primarily under the Legacy Fighting Alliance banner in recent years, going 6-1 in the promotion since 2022.
