The UFC on ESPN 7 lineup continues to grow with the addition of a strawweight clash pitting Cortney Casey against Virna Jandiroba.
The Las Vegas-based promotion confirmed the pairing through the Washington Post. UFC on ESPN 7 takes place at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., on Dec. 7 and is headlined by a heavyweight tilt between Alistair Overeem and Walt Harris.
Casey has lost three of her last four promotional appearances, including a decision defeat against Cynthia Calvillo in her last outing at UFC on ESPN 1 this past February. The MMA Lab product is 4-6 in the Octagon and 8-7 as a professional overall.
A former Invicta FC titlist, Jandiroba began professional career with 14 consecutive triumphs. The Brazilian came up short in her promotional debut, falling to ex-champ Carla Esparza via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 150 on April 27.
