Dana White reveals Amanda Nunes vs. Felicia Spencer at UFC 250 in Brazil

Two-division champion Amanda Nunes will put her featherweight title on the line against Felicia Spencer at UFC 250 on May 9 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. UFC president Dana White revealed the title bout on Thursday to ESPN’s Brett Okamoto.

Nunes (19-4) captured the women’s 145-pound title by knocking out Cris Cyborg at UFC 232 in December 2018. It will be her first featherweight title defense.

The 31-year-old Brazilian is on a 10-fight winning streak and hasn’t tasted defeat since 2014. Since defeating Cyborg, Nunes has defended her bantamweight belt twice.

Spencer (8-1) is the former Invicta FC featherweight champion. The only blemish on her record is a loss to Cyborg by unanimous decision at UFC 240 in July 2019. She’s coming off a first-round finish over Zarah Fairn at UFC on ESPN+ 27 on Feb. 29.

UFC 250 takes place at Ginásio do Ibirapuera in Sao Paulo. The last time Nunes fought in her home country was in May 2018, stopping Raquel Pennington at UFC 224,
