Drake, Conor McGregor place massive bets on UFC 314

Drake and Conor McGregor are putting down some serious money for UFC 314’s biggest fights.

Ahead of Saturday’s pay-per-view event in Miami, the celebrities shared a couple of massive wagers in partnership with their respective gambling sponsors.

Drake announced via Instagram stories that he is laying down a cool $545,000 on the favored Alexander Volkanovski to defeat Diego Lopes in the main event and once again become UFC featherweight champion.

Check out the whopper of a slip below.

Should Volkanovski emerge victorious, he’ll help net a $915,000 payout for the Canadian rap star.

It would be a much-needed win for Volkanovski, who is coming off of brutal knockout losses in his past two championship bouts against Ilia Topuria and lightweight champion Islam Makhachev. The 36-year-old looks to become the first fighter ever to win an undisputed UFC title coming off of consecutive losses.

Lopes has won five straight fights since dropping a decision on short-notice to undefeated featherweight contender Movsar Evloev.

McGregor is also getting in on the action. He shared a video to Twitter in which he showed he is betting $500,000 on longtime rival Michael Chandler to not just defeat Paddy Pimblett in Saturday’s co-main event, but to put “The Baddy” down via knockout.

Chandler, a three-time Bellator lightweight champion, is the underdog going into his duel with Pimblett as he has lost two straight and four of his six UFC appearances. Pimblett is 6-0 inside the octagon.
