The cast for “Road House 2” is filled with Ultimate Fighting Championship alumni.

Dustin Poirier and Michael Chandler will star in the sequel to the “Road House” remake, which featured Conor McGregor opposite Jake Gyllenhaal. While Poirier retired from mixed martial arts earlier this year, Chandler has fought only three times since 2022, losing all three bouts. Other fighters starring in “Road House 2” are Stephen Thompson, Michael Page, Tyron Woodley and Glory kickboxing champion Rico Verhoeven. UFC veteran and former International Fight League champion Jay Hieron, who made an appearance in “Road House,” will also be a part of the sequel.

McGregor will not be returning in the sequel from Amazon MGM. He played a villain in the remake of the 1989 classic that was released in 2024. In the film, Gyllenhaal works as a bouncer at a roadside bar, which he had to protect from McGregor and others.
