Eryk Anders was busted open by Christian Leroy Duncan in their middleweight bout at UFC Vegas 109.
The former University of Alabama linebacker was rocked by a spinning back elbow and finished by a barrage of punches 3:53 into the opening stanza of his matchup with Duncan. After the bout, UFC CEO Dana White shared before and after photos of a nasty gash above Anders’ eye.

The 38-year-old Anders was coming off a 2-0 campaign in 2024 in which he earned victories over Jamie Pickett and Chris Weidman. “Ya Boi” is 9-9 with one no contest over the course of a promotional tenure that began in 2017.
