Top contender Sean Brady (18-1) will face the surging Michael Morales (18-0) on Nov. 15 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Brady spilled the beans on his podcast “The BradyBagz Show” following an initial report by ClubDeLasMMA on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The card will be headlined by former lightweight champ Islam Makhachev challenging Jack Della Maddalena for the welterweight title. Meanwhile, former women’s strawweight queen Weili Zhang will challenge flyweight ace Valentina Shevchenko for the flyweight crown in the co-main event.
Brady suffered his lone professional loss against former champion Belal Muhammad in 2022. Brady has since rebounded with wins over Kelvin Gastelum, Gilbert Burns and most recently, a finish over former champ Leon Edwards this past March. Meanwhile, Morales has finished four of his six UFC wins since his Octagon debut in 2022. The undefeated Ecuadorian finished Burns in the first round in his latest outing back in May.
