The Ultimate Fighting Championship continues to book more flyweight fights, as Deiveson Figueiredo will take on Tim Elliott on Oct. 12.

Elliott, meanwhile, will return to the Octagon after almost two years off. The 32-year-old last fought at UFC 219 in December of 2017, whern he beat Mark De La Rosa by submission. He is 4-6 inside the Octagon over the course of two promotional stints. He challenged for flyweight gold after winning “The Ultimate Fighter 24,” but he lost a decision to then champion Demetrious Johnson at the “TUF 24” finale in December 2016.
