Greg Hardy vs. Jarjis Danho announced for UFC Singapore

Greg Hardy will head to Asia in search of his third straight win.

The former NFL player-turned-MMA heavyweight will take on Jarjis Danho at a UFC event in Singapore this October. Officials announced the matchup Wednesday.

Hardy, 31, has won back-to-back fights by first-round knockout since losing via disqualification in his UFC debut in January. He is 5-1 as a pro so far, with all five of those wins coming by way of first-round KO/TKO.

With two UFC appearances under his belt, Danho (5-1-1, 1 NC) competes for the first time since September 2016. “Man Mountain” is winless inside the Octagon, having lost a majority decision to Daniel Omielanczuk in his first outing and fought Christian Colombo to a majority draw in his second. An injury forced Danho to withdraw from a scheduled bout with Dmitry Poberezhets at UFC 211 back in May 2017.

Also announced for the upcoming Singapore show was a lightweight bout between Beneil Dariush (16-4-1) and Frank Camacho (22-7). Dariush seeks his third straight win, while Camacho looks to get his own streak going after a successful return to 155 pounds against Nick Hein in June.

UFC Singapore takes place on Oct. 26 at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang and will be headlined by a welterweight bout between Demian Maia and Ben Askren. The main card airs on the ESPN+ streaming service.
