Most recently, “Soldier of God” lost a controversial decision to Vagab Vagabov at IBA Bare Knuckle 4 in Russia on March 28. A former UFC middleweight title challenger, the 48-year-old Romero hasn’t fought standard MMA since a decision win over Thiago Santos at a PFL vs. Bellator event in February 2024.
Nicholson, 35, had stints in both the UFC and Professional Fighters League while compiling a 20-13 mark in his MMA career overall. “The Spartan” is 3-2 under the Gamebred Bareknuckle banner.
