The PFL on Friday takes an important step in its 2025 campaign with its first round of tournament finals in the welterweight and featherweight divisions. Thad Jean puts his undefeated record on the line when he faces Logan Storley for the welterweight crown in the main event. Meanwhile, the featherweight title hangs in the balance when Jesus Pinedo confronts the unbeaten Movlid Khaybulaev in the five-round co-headliner at 145 pounds.
Jean, 27, has established himself as one of the most promising young talents on the roster. He has finished six of his 10 career victories, five of them by knockout or technical knockout. Jean advanced in the tournament with a first-round knockout of Mukhamed Berkhamov on April 3 and a contentious split decision over former Bellator MMA champion Jason Jackson on June 12. On the other side of the equation, the 32-year-old Storley has rattled off seven wins across his past nine appearances. The four-time NCAA All-American wrestler secured his spot in the 170-pound final with unanimous decisions over Joseph Luciano and Masayuki Kikuiri. Storley operates out of the high-profile Kill Cliff Fight Club camp in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
The rest of the main card—which kicks off at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on ESPN and ESPN+—sees Asael Adjoudj toe the line against Yves Landu in a featherweight showcase and Jordan Newman square off with Eslam Abdul Baset Syaha in a middleweight appetizer. A catchweight tilt pitting Jakub Kaszuba against Sergio Cossio at 160 pounds highlights the undercard, which streams to ESPN+ at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT.
