Two athletes will be shifting weight classes for a clash at UFC Qatar.

Jack Hermansson will move from middleweight to 170 pounds to square off against former lightweight competitor Myktybek Orolbai at the Nov. 22 Fight Night event at ABHA Arena in Doha, Qatar. Both fighters confirmed the matchup following an initial report from @realkevink on social media.

Hermansson Looks to Rebound from KO Defeat

Hermansson is 5-5 in his last 10 outings at 185 pounds. In his first appearance of 2025, “The Joker” suffered a first-round knockout loss to Gregory Rodrigues at UFC 317 on June 28. The 37-year-old Swede has bested the likes of Joe Pyfer, Chris Curtis, Kelvin Gastelum, Ronaldo Souza and Thales Leites during his tenure with the Las Vegas-based organization.

Orolbai has competed at both lightweight and welterweight while compiling a 14-2-1 professional mark. The 27-year-old Kyrgyzstan native has fought in both divisions — as well as a pair of catchweight bouts — while winning three of his first four outings in UFC competition. Most recently, he submitted Tofiq Musayev in the opening stanza at UFC on ABC 8 on June 21.
