Jack Shore set to fight Geraldo de Freitas at UFC London

Former Cage Warriors bantamweight champion Jack Shore will enter the Octagon a second time in Europe, as he faces Brazilian 135-pounder Geraldo de Freitas at UFC London on March 21, the company announced Thursday.

Shore (12-0) captured and defended and Cage Warriors title before signing with the UFC in 2019, submitting Nohelin Hernandez with a rear-naked choke in his promotional debut. The 24-year-old prospect has finished 11 of his 12 opponents as a professional.

“Espartano” de Freitas (12-5) won six in a row on the Brazilian circuit to earn a deal with the UFC and defeated Felipe Colares in his first Octagon appearance in Fortaleza, Brazil, in Feb. 2019. The 28-year-old fighter had his winning streak snapped by Chris Gutierrez six months later at UFC Uruguay.

UFC London will take place at O2 Arena and feature a five-round welterweight showdown between former champion Tyron Woodley and Leon Edwards in the headlining attraction.
