The UFC’s return to Atlanta has added a women’s flyweight contest.
Multiple people with knowledge of the promotion’s plans confirmed to MMA Fighting that a matchup between Jamey Lyn-Horth and Tereza Bleda is set for UFC Atlanta. The event takes place June 14 at State Farm Arena.
Horth makes her fifth octagon appearance, and had flip-flopped wins and losses throughout her UFC tenure. In her most recent outing, the 35-year-old dropped a unanimous decision to Miranda Maverick at UFC Tampa in December. The former LFA flyweight champ holds promotional victories over Hailey Cowan and Ivana Petrovic.
Bleda looks to continue her winning ways after picking up her first UFC victory in her most recent appearance, earning a unanimous decision against Gabriella Fernandes. The 23-year-old returns to action nearly two years after that win, as she was forced to withdraw from a scheduled bout with Casey O’Neill at UFC 305 this past August.
