During their co-headlining matchup, Stirling dropped Blachowicz with a powerful strike that sent him across the Octagon. Stirling then opened up a nasty cut on his face with ground-and-pound blows en route to victory, the biggest of his career so far. Blachowicz has now given fans a look at the aftermath of the bout, sharing images of the cut before and after getting stitches.

“It is what it is,” Blachowicz wrote in the caption of his post. “Another one for the collection.”

This defeat extended Blachowicz’s winless run to five fights. His last victory came all the way back in May 2022, when he defeated Aleksandar Rakic. Since then, the Polish 205-pounder has fought to draws against Magomed Ankalaev and Bogdan Guskov while suffering decision losses to former UFC champion Alex Pereira and current light heavyweight king Carlos Ulberg.
