Jim Miller Booked Against Alex White at UFC 228 in Dallas on Sept. 8

Jim Miller is slated to step into the Octagon for the 30th time when he squares off with Alex White at UFC 228.

The Las Vegas-based promotion recently announced the lightweight booking. UFC 228 takes place at American Airlines Arena in Dallas on Sept. 8 and is headlined by a welterweight championship tilt between Tyron Woodley and Darren Till.

Miller is currently 17-11 with one no contest during his UFC tenure. The 34-year-old Sparta, N.J., native has fallen on hard times of late, as he enters the matchup with White on a four-fight losing streak. Most recently, Miller suffered a first-round knockout loss to Dan Hooker at UFC Fight Night 128 on April 21.

White came up short in his first appearance of 2018, dropping a unanimous decision to James Krause at UFC Fight Night 124 on Jan. 14. White is 3-4 in the Octagon after beginning his professional career with nine consecutive triumphs on the regional circuit.
