Jon Jones Posts Video Kissing Finance Days After Domestic Violence Arrest

Former UFC light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones, is just over a week removed from a domestic violence arrest and he’s taken to Instagram to share a video kissing his alleged victim, his longtime fiancee, Jessie Moses. The video comes just one week after Jones was arrested after a hotel incident in Las Vegas.

According to a police report and audio obtained of the incident, Moses went to the lobby of the Caesars Palace casino where she and her children were staying with Jones following his UFC Hall of Fame induction. She appeared to have blood on her clothing and a busted lip but refused medical attention and did not want the police called. It was one of their daughters who asked for the authorities.

Jones was later taken into custody after assaulting a police car.

The video shows Moses and Jones kissing and smiling in a car and has a caption that reads “I will stay with you through the ups and the downs.”

Jones then sticks his tongue out at the camera before it cuts off.

Jones has had a long history with the law including drug charges, assault allegations, hit and run and gun charges among others. He’s due back in court at the end of October. The UFC has yet to announce any kind of punishment but UFC president Dana White did comment on the incident during a media scrum last week.

“This is what Jon does when he comes to Vegas,” White said. “Jon comes to Vegas and – this is a rough place for him, man. He was here less than 12 hours and, you know, he was in jail. Every time we bring him here, we try to keep him here for as short a time as possible, get him in and get him out. This time he was with his family so we figured – we figured wrong.”

Jones was expected to make his heavyweight debut in 2022.
