Katie Taylor, Amanda Serrano share intense faceoff ahead of trilogy fight

Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano have shared the ring together two times previously and while the fighters have a lot of respect for each other, the animosity between them nearly bubbled to the surface during a pre-fight press conference on Wednesday.

The fighters shared an intense faceoff after answering questions about their past two encounters, which both ended with Taylor winning razor-close decisions. Each time, Serrano believed she deserved the nod — and it’s safe to say Taylor vehemently disagreed.

The one thing they did agree on was this is the last time they’ll likely meet with Serrano attempting to avenge those controversial decision while Taylor attempts to put a stamp on arguably the greatest trilogy in women’s boxing history.

The fighters are set to come face-to-face one final time on Thursday during the official weigh-ins before meeting in the ring inside Madison Square Garden in New York with the event airing live on Netflix with the main card starting at 8 p.m. ET on Friday.
