Kron Gracie removed from UFC roster after completing deal in loss to Bryce Mitchell

Kron Gracie has been removed from the UFC roster six months after a defeat to Bryce Mitchell at UFC 310 in Las Vegas, MMA Fighting has confirmed following a report from X user FullContactMTWF.

The jiu-jitsu ace, who turns 37 in July, completed his contract back in December when he was finished by Bryce Mitchell via third-round knockout. That was the third loss in a row for the featherweight.

Gracie entered the promotion with a bang in 2019, tapping out Alex Caceres quickly more than two years after concluding his RIZIN career with back-to-back submissions over MMA veterans Hideo Tokoro and Tatsuya Kawajiri.

The son of Rickson Gracie re-entered the octagon eight months later to lose a decision against Cub Swanson in a Fight of the Night bonus-winning co-main event.

If took the Brazilian more than three years to finally return, putting on a poor performance to lose a decision to Charles Jourdain. Gracie came back to face Mitchell after another long layoff, getting finished a minute into the third round.
