Two light heavyweights with championship dreams will get center stage at UFC Perth.
The Las Vegas-based promotion on Tuesday announced that Carlos Ulberg will square off against Dominick Reyes in the UFC Fight Night headliner at RAC Arena in Perth, Australia, on Sept 27.

A native of Auckland, New Zealand, Ulberg has been victorious in eight consecutive outings since losing his Octagon debut in March 2021. The City Kickboxing representative has gradually increased the level of competition during his tenure and is coming off decision wins over Jan Blachowicz and Volkan Oezdemir in his most recent two UFC appearances. Ulberg has finished five of his eight promotional triumphs.
Resurgent Reyes Has Finished Last Three Foes
Reyes initially rose to prominence when he gave Jon Jones a stern test in what would turn out to be the final light heavyweight title defense for “Bones” at UFC 247 in February 2020. That began a four-fight skid for “The Devastator” in which he was finished in his next three bouts. The 35-year-old Victorville, California, native has since rebounded to post successive KO/TKO triumphs over Dustin Jacoby, Anthony Smith and Nikita Krylov.
