Luke Rockhold Reacts to KO Loss at Misfits Boxing 22

Luke Rockhold appears to be taking his loss to Darren Till in stride.

The UFC and Strikeforce middleweight champion had a rough time at Misfits Boxing 22 in Manchester, England, on Saturday, as he was dropped by Till in the first round before being folded backward by a left hand for a knockout defeat 1:08 into the third frame.

Despite the brutal nature of the setback, Rockhold was able to share a beer with his fellow UFC veteran after the match.

“S—t happens, it’s all love [Darren Till],” Rockhold wrote on Instagram. “All the best to you brother.”

Rockhold hasn’t competed in MMA since August 2022, when he lost a unanimous decision to Paulo Costa at UFC 278. The American Kickboxing Academy stalwart has tried his hand at a number of disciplines since then, including a stoppage loss to Mike Perry in BKFC and a knockout of Joe Schilling under the Karate Combat banner. Rockhold also lost a unanimous decision against Patrick Downey in a grappling match at the Craig Jones Invitational before making his Misfits Boxing debut.
