Rockhold hasn’t competed in MMA since August 2022, when he lost a unanimous decision to Paulo Costa at UFC 278. The former UFC and Strikeforce middleweight champion has tried his hand at a number of disciplines since then, including a stoppage loss to Mike Perry in BKFC and a knockout of Joe Schilling under the Karate Combat banner. Most recently, Rockhold lost a unanimous decision against Patrick Downey in a grappling match at the Craig Jones Invitational.

It’s also been a while since Till set foot in the Octagon, as his last outing was a submission loss to Dricus Du Plessis at UFC 282 in December 2022. He has three boxing victories to has credit since then, including triumphs over Anthony Taylor and Darren Stewart under the Misfits Boxing banner.

’El Cucuy’ to Face Influencer in Boxing Debut

Ferguson recently hinted that a boxing match was in his future, and now he will get a chance to earn a victory in his Sweet Science debut. A former UFC interim lightweight champion, “El Cucuy” exited the promotion on an eight-bout losing streak. He was scheduled to face Dillon Danis in Global Fight League on May 25 before the organization canceled both of its debut events.

Salt Papi, whose given name is Nathaniel Bustamante, is a 31-year-old Philippines native with a 6-2 mark on the influencer boxing circuit.
