Popular Polish strongman Mariusz Pudzianowski will return to action against Quentin Domingos in the KSW 53 headliner.
Promotion officials announced the contest on Monday. KSW 53 takes place on March 21 at the Atlas Arena in Lodz, Poland, and also includes a middleweight clash between Michal Materla and Patrik Kincl. KSW welterweight champion Robert Soldic will also defend his belt on the card.
The 41-year-old Pudzianowski last appeared at KSW 51, where he stopped fitness model and social media sensation Erko Jun via technical knockout 1:43 into the second frame of their bout. That halted a two-fight skid for “Pudz,” who had dropped back-to-back outings against Szymon Kolecki and Karol Bedorf. Pudzianowski is 13-7 with one no contest over the course of a professional career that began in 2009.
A native of France, Domingos has been victorious in five of his six MMA bouts. He also has experience competing under the Glory Kickboxing banner. “Ruskov” has finished four of his five triumphs via knockout or technical knockout and is coming off a first-round stoppage of Sead Kahrovic in Paris this past December.
