Meanwhile, Nate Diaz will also make his MMA return on the card against Mike Perry. During a recent episode of the JRE podcast, former UFC fighter Brendan Schaub said that he heard that Diaz is making $10 million for the fight against Perry. Meanwhile, UFC commentator Joe Rogan then claimed to have heard that Diaz is getting paid even more.

Money to Burn

The upcoming Netflix MMA card is being considered a counter to the UFC’s dominance in MMA. Rousey, around whom the card is built, has been going off on the UFC brass since the card was announced. However, MVP and Netflix might be offering massive paydays to these stars, who are mostly past their heydays.

Diaz’s opponent, Perry, admitted that he will be earning the biggest paycheck of his career on the Netflix card. There were talks of Diaz returning to the UFC for a trilogy fight against Conor McGregor. However, Dana White recently said that Diaz probably got an offer from Netflix that he couldn’t refuse.

Diaz fought sparingly towards the end of his UFC career and parted ways with the promotion following a submission win over Tony Ferguson in 2022. The Stockton native has since lost a boxing match against Jake Paul and won one against Jorge Masvidal
