The highly-anticipated rematch between Douglas Lima and Michael Page has come and gone following their razor-close three-round fight at Bellator 267.
In the end, Page got his revenge over the former welterweight champion with a split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28) victory, much to the delight of the London crowd.
See the official scorecard and the round-by-round scoring below:
Judge Ben Cartlidge scored the fight 28-29 for Lima while Eric Colon and Doug Crosby gave the edge to Page, 29-28. Both Colon and Crosby scored the first round for Page.
For Page (20-1), the performance not only extended his win streak to six straight inside the Bellator cage, but most likely secured him a shot at reigning champion Yaroslav Amosov (26-0). “Venom” had scored a nose-shattering TKO win over Derek Anderson in his previous outing.
Lima (32-10), on the other hand, has dropped three straight fights since winning the Bellator Welterweight Grand Prix over Rory MacDonald in October 2020. He previously came up short in his bid to win the middleweight title against Gegard Mousasi and lost his welterweight crown to Amosov earlier this year.
