Darren Till’s second fight since parting ways with the UFC is a go.
Till will face former Bellator fighter and surging influencer boxing star Anthony Taylor in the main event of Saturday’s Misfits Boxing 20 card at Co-Op Live in Manchester, England.
On Friday, both fighters, along with the other 14 competitors stepped on the scale during the event’s weigh-ins. Till weighed in at 195.1 pounds, while Taylor came in a little lighter at 192.5 pounds.
After Till made weight, he walked right up to Taylor and shoved him, which led to a near brawl that needed to be separated. Check out the video below.
Till competed in the boxing ring at Social Knockouts 3 this past July, winning via injury TKO in the second round. Prior to that, “The Gorilla” was stopped by now UFC middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis at UFC 282 in December 2022.
Taylor enters the bout on an impressive four-fight win streak, which includes victories over Salt Papi and Gabriel Silva — the son of UFC legend Anderson Silva.
The co-main event is also official with boxing commentator Wade Plemons making his Misfits debut weighing in at 199.1 pounds, while his opponent Masai Warrior tipped the scaled at 196.4 pounds.
