While chaos reigned at the Barclays Center on Thursday, Nate Diaz is on the sidelines chilling.
The UFC star threw shade at lightweight standouts Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor on social media in reaction to McGregor making a surprise appearance in Brooklyn where he confronted Nurmagomedov after a media event for UFC 223, which takes place on Saturday.
McGregor and company were seen shouting at Nurmagomedov’s bus as it left the premises, and several clips have emerged from the incident including one of “The Notorious” hurling a dolly through the bus window.
First, Diaz took Nurmagomedov to task for a run-in that the Russian fighter had with McGregor’s close friend and SBG Ireland training partner Artem Lobov earlier in the week:
He shouldn’t have been trying to punk his boy when he was alone, like a bully. Then he expects not to get rolled on fukn rookie..
And then stay on the bus
haha u guys got punked ….— Nathan Diaz (@NateDiaz209) April 5, 2018
And then he made sure to offer a parting shot to both men, especially McGregor who he battled in a pair of thrilling UFC bouts back in 2016.
I allready slapped and punked both these guys and they teams though so that’s none of my buisness
