Per a release from the UFC’s broadcast partner of Paramount+, the official viewership numbers for UFC 329 are now out. According to the release, viewers in the U.S. and Latin America combined for a whopping 15.9 million total viewers. The breakdown for the U.S. totaled 14.3 million while the other countries combined for 1.6 million on the streaming service. This total does not eclipse the 17 million reached by the UFC White House card
Even as it brought in an average of 6.5 million average viewers, that tally falls far short of the number on the June 14 spectacle show. The UFC White House event saw 8.2 million average viewers—it has since corrected the number previously submitted of seven million—throughout that Sunday night, one where the event started late due to a weather delay.
UFC 329 beat UFC White House in one major metric
While the UFC White House show largely surpassed UFC 329 in most viewership categories, there was one notable metric where UFC 329 shined. The broadcaster revealed in its release that the card maxed out at 8.3 million people watching simultaneously around the Western Hemisphere. This sets the new record for the promotion, which previously stood at 7.9 million when Justin Gaethje beat down Ilia Topuria. It is not the highest in Paramount+ history, with Super Bowl LVIII which saw the Kansas City Chiefs play the San Francisco 49ers in Feb. 2024 drawing 11.5 million views at the same time.
UFC 329 concluded with Max Holloway winning the rematch against Conor McGregor, after McGregor threw a flying kick on his opening strike and appeared to injure his right knee. After 69 seconds, McGregor could not continue and Holloway was awarded the injury TKO victory. The triumphant Holloway called for a rubber match, claiming that he wanted to make some more money. The organization set a record for its highest gate, surpassing all past shows at the T-Mobile Arena despite no new seats being added to the venue.
