Priscila Cachoeira will step in for Rachael Ostovich and square off against Shana Dobson at UFC Auckland.
MMAjunkie.com was first to report the news. A reason for Ostovich’s withdrawl was not revealed. UFC Auckland takes place on Feb. 22 and his headlined by a lightweight tilt between Paul Felder and Dan Hooker. The card streams on ESPN+.
Cachoeira is still looking for her first Octagon triumph after falling to Valentina Shevchenko, Molly McCann and Luana Carolina in her first three appearances. The 31-year-old Brazilian is 8-3 as a professional overall.
After scoring a first-round TKO over Ariel Beck in her promotional debut at “The Ultimate Fighter 26” finale, Dobson has dropped back-to-back decisions against Lauren Mueller and Sabina Mazo.
