Marc Goddard will be the third man in the cage for the UFC 323 main event.
The referees and judges were selected for the two title bouts at UFC 323 during a Nevada State Athletic Commission meeting on Wednesday. UFC 323 takes place on Dec. 6 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Referees will earn $2,900, while the judges will be paid $2,500 apiece.
Familiar Faces
Goddard will oversee the bantamweight title clash between Merab Dvalishvili and Petr Yan. Mike Bell, Derek Cleary and Eric Colon will serve as judges for the UFC 323 headliner. Goddard was also the official for Dvalishvili’s last title defense, a five-round verdict over Cory Sandhagen at UFC 320 on Oct. 4.
Meanwhile, Herb Dean will referee the flyweight title tilt pitting Alexandre Pantoja against Joshua Van in the UFC 323 co-main event. Sal D’Amato, Chris Lee and Ron McCarthy will score the contest from their cageside seats. Dean was also in the Octagon when Pantoja submitted Kai Kara-France in his most recent outing at UFC 317.
