UFC Fight Night: Ponzinibbio vs. Magny took place Nov. 17 at the Estadio Mary Teran de Weiss in Buenos Aires, Argentina. UFC welterweight contenders Santiago Ponzinibbio (27-3) and Neil Magny (21-7) collided in the night’s co-main event, which aired live on FOX Sports 1. Catch the video highlights below.

Round 1: Herb Dean on hand to oversee the main event. Ponzinibbio the aggressor right out of the gate, he has Magny backed up against the fence and he’s landing punches up top early. Magny hardly returning fire at all. Good movement by Ponzinibbio, he’s completely cutting off the cage. Magny looks like his eye is having some problems after taking a stiff jab. 1-2 combo by Ponzinibbio lands crisp. Leg kick by Magny, then he doubles up on a jab. Ponzinibbio mixing in punches to the body. His jab continues to find a home. Magny counters with a jab of his own, but eats a leg kick. Ponzinibbio lands a big right hand before the end of the round and Magny has to turtle up against the fence.

Round 2: Magny throwing a lot more punches to start round two. He gets tripped up by a Ponzinibbio leg kick and Ponzinibbio lets him stand up. Magny backed up against the fence again. Another well-timed leg kick puts Magny on his backside. They reset on the feet. Magny limited to jabs so far, and Ponzinibbio is matching him in that department. Momentary stoppage so that the doctors can check on a cut above his left eye, which appeared to be the result of an accidental clash of heads. Action resumes and Ponzinibbio immediately pops Magny with a jab. Leg kick puts Magny down again and he is noticeably limping when the action is reset on the feet. Front kick to the body by Magny. Ponzinibbio sprawls to easily block a shot and then backs off. Ponzinibbio with all of the pressure. 1-2 for Ponzinibbio, Magny just cannot get off the fence.

Round 3: They exchange jabs, Magny looking more aggressive, but Ponzinibbio is avoiding power shots with his head and lateral movement. Leg kick from Ponzinibbio spins Magny around. Magny’s movement is so restricted by that hurt leg, Ponzinibbio is teeing off on him with Magny completely backed up. Ponzinibbio picking his shots now. Magny looks hesitant to switch to orthodox stance and Ponzinibbio makes him pay with another cracking leg ick when he does. Jab on the jaw lands for Ponzinibbio. Magny is landing the occasional punch, but there’s no follow-up.

Round 4: Right hand over the top lands for Magny. Huge leg kick by Ponzinibbio, down goes Magny again. Ponzinibbio lets him up. Sloppy takedown attempt by Magny, Ponzinibbio just throws him down before backing up. Magny gets knocked down off of a leg kick a fifth time. Another leg kick, another knockdown. Magny extremely slow to stand up. Dean warning Magny that he has to be more active. Ponzinibbio with a few jabs to set up a straight right and Magny slumps forward to the mat. He’s done.
