Sodiq Yusuff vs. Arnold Allen in the works for UFC event on April 10

A featherweight fight between Sodiq Yusuff and Arnold Allen is currently in the works for the upcoming UFC event on April 10.

Multiple sources close to the situation confirmed the news to MMA Fighting on Wednesday. MMA Junkie initially reported the contest.

Yusuff will be making his first appearance since January 2020 when he moved his current win streak to six fights in a row after earning a unanimous decision over Andre Fili. Yusuff was originally slated to return this past October but he was forced out of a scheduled bout with Edson Barboza for undisclosed reasons.

Now the 27-year-old prospect will return to action while facing off with another top prospect in the featherweight division.

With a 16-1 record overall, and an undefeated run in the UFC, Allen has proven he’s a fighter worth watching as he continues to make moves up the ranks at 145 pounds.

In his two most recent appearances, Allen earned victories over Gilbert Melendez and Nik Lentz as he pushed his UFC record to 7-0.

Yusuff vs. Allen is the latest addition to a growing card on April 10, which features a middleweight main event as Marvin Vettori takes on Darren Till in a five-round fight.
