Season 34 will be titled “Team Cormier vs. Team Bisping” because of its coaches, Daniel Cormier and Michael Bisping. The former coached Season 33 against Chael Sonnen in 2025 and his team ended up winning the welterweight bracket, while Sonnen and pupil Joseph Morales took home the six-figure contract for their side. This season will feature eight men’s bantamweights and eight women’s strawweights to tie the teams together, with the standard style of them living in a house together amidst shenanigans and tomfoolery fully intact.
No strangers to TUF
This will be the third season that former two-division champion and UFC Hall of Fame inductee Cormier has coached. He made his TUF coaching debut opposite Stipe Miocic in 2018 prior to their meeting at UFC 226 that July—where Cormier’s fighter Brad Katona ran the table at featherweight while Cormier punched out Miocic to secure his second divisional title.
Bisping made his bones on TUF, first appearing on the third season back in 2006 as an undefeated light heavyweight on Tito Ortiz’ team. Ortiz crushed that season, with Ken Shamrock only having one athlete in a division’s finals: Ed Herman, who ultimate lost a decision to Kendall Grove for the trophy and contract. The Brit gave back to TUF in 2011 when he coached against Jason Miller as they split the season at one win apiece.
