Mitchell is a well-known flat earther who expresses his unfiltered opinions on a variety of topics. The UFC bantamweight lives on a ranch in Searcy, Arkansas. Mitchell recently posted a video where his nose is visibly broken and packed with tissues. “Thug Nasty” asked for someone to fix his nose for free, as doctors are too expensive.
“Hi, I’m in Searcy, Arkansas right now. I need my nose straightened out. I just got it broken,” Mitchell said on social media. “You can tell it’s sideways. But the doctors are so expensive. They’re like, $2,000 or some s—t just to set my nose. Can somebody in Searcy, by the grace of God, please set my nose straight for free? If you can fix my nose for free in Searcy, Arkansas right now, send me a message. And I’ll probably go to you instead of the doctor. Because this is probably gonna be thousands of dollars. And it just has to be pulled and put back straight. So if you all can help, let me know.”
Mitchell was willing to pay in cash since he doesn’t have medical insurance.
“Searcy can anyone help me please?” Mitchell wrote in the caption. “Can a [doctor] reset this for me? I dont have medical insurance. I’ll pay cash if [you] want money.”
A Happy Ending for ‘Thug Nasty’
Mitchell posted an update soon after that a friend of his fixed his nose for free. Mitchell claims he is fit to fight whenever the UFC calls.
Mitchell was unbeaten in six UFC outings before suffering his first professional loss against Ilia Topuria in 2022. Mitchell’s seemingly promising career never quite found the same momentum yet again, as he alternated between wins and losses. Mitchell decided to drop to bantamweight following a one-sided submission loss to Jean Silva earlier this year. Mitchell has since rebounded with a unanimous decision win over Said Nurmagomedov this past July.
