Tony Ferguson doesn’t want to hear anymore talk from Nate Diaz.
On Thursday, the former UFC interim lightweight champ responded to a tweet from Diaz earlier this week in which the longtime UFC star seemed to state that he is done competing at 155 pounds, despite names like Conor McGregor declaring that they would gladly welcome Diaz back to the division.
Suffice to say, Ferguson was not impressed by Diaz’s comments.

Ferguson wrote, “All you do is b*tch out, you don’t want no squabbles from a real fighter.” He then seemed to indicate that he is open to competing at welterweight or lightweight before referring to Diaz as a casual.
In 17 UFC appearances at lightweight, Ferguson holds a 14-3 record, having lost his last two fights against Charles Oliveira and Justin Gaethje. He won The Ultimate Fighter 13 as a welterweight and later compiled a 12-fight win streak at 155 pounds.
Diaz also mentioned on Twitter the possibility of fighting Dustin Poirier in response to a Poirier clip in which Diaz was addressed. “These are fighting words tho,” Diaz wrote. “So f*ck a weight class.”
As it stands, it appears Diaz has no shortage of options, regardless of which division he decides to fight in next.
