A lot has happened since Tracy Cortez and Erin Blanchfield first squared off under the Invicta FC banner.

Cortez and Blanchfield will run it back more than six years later at UFC 322 on Nov. 15, according to an initial report from MMAjunkie.com. The Las Vegas-based promotion has not formally announced the event, but it is widely expected to be held at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Cortez, Blanchfield Enjoyed Success After Initial Meeting

Cortez defeated Blanchfield via split decision at Invicta FC 34 on Feb. 15, 2019. That was part of an 11-bout winning streak for Cortez that begin in 2017 and ended with a loss to Rose Namajunas at UFC on ESPN 59 in July 2024. The 31-year-old Arizonan is 6-1 in the Octagon and is coming off a unanimous decision triumph over Viviane Araujo at UFC 317 on June 28.

Blanchfield, meanwhile, went on to win nine consecutive bouts following the loss to Cortez. That culminated in a title eliminator at UFC on ESPN 54, where she dropped a five-round verdict to Manon Fiorot. The 26-year-old New Jersey native has since rebounded to best Namajunas in a five-round contest at UFC Fight Night 246 this past November.
