The UFC is bringing another big show to Abu Dhabi.
On Friday, the promotion announced that the UFC 308 pay-per-view event takes place in the United Arab Emirates capital at Etihad Arena on Oct. 26. Holding a PPV in Abu Dhabi has become an October tradition, with the city also hosting UFC 294, UFC 280, and UFC 267 in this same month.
No bouts have been made official for the Oct. 26 card.
UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev headlined the past two Abu Dhabi PPVs, defeating Alexander Volkanovski by knockout in their rematch this past October and becoming lightweight champion with a dominant submission win over Charles Oliveira in 2022. Makhachev has been rumored to be featured on an Abu Dhabi card this year, but no matchup has been announced for the 155-pound king.
The UFC previously announced that a Fight Night event will be held at Etihad Arena on Aug. 3. A lineup for that card is also still to be determined.
