UFC 317 video: Terrance McKinney locks in guillotine choke to submit Viacheslav Borshchev in 55 seconds

Terrance McKinney continues to be must-see TV.

The notoriously fast finisher racked up another unbelievable highlight Saturday at UFC 317, needing just 55 seconds to trap Viacheslav Borshchev in a guillotine choke and force the tap.

Watch McKinney’s speedy submission below.

After absorbing an opening spin kick to the body, McKinney caught Borshchev’s leg on his next kick attempt and took him to the ground. “T.Wrecks” immediately attacked with an anaconda choke that looked deep, but Borshchev survived. Undeterred, McKinney switched to a guillotine choke from top position and didn’t let go until the submission was secure.

That’s now an incredible 16 first-round finishes for McKinney (17-7) and he has now finished three UFC fights in under a minute. McKinney has mostly been a knockout artist during his UFC tenure, but Saturday’s tap-out was his ninth career submission victory.

Borshchev (8-6-1) has now lost three of his past four fights.
