The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to Las Vegas with two title fights, which are now official following the UFC 320 weigh-ins.
Headlining the pay-per-view card is a rematch between light heavyweight champ Magomed Ankalaev and Alex Pereira. Both men made weight for the title fight, as did bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili and challenger Cory Sandhagen for their co-main event. All other fighters also made weight, with the exception of Macy Chiasson, who once again missed the bantamweight limit. She’ll be fined 25% of her purse for being 1.5 pounds over the limit for her fight against Yana Santos.
Ankalaev (20-1-1, 1 NC) enters the championship rematch having dominated the Brazilian back in March. Prior to the five-round decision win, the Dagestani fighter had picked up wins over Aleksandar Rakic and Johnny Walker. The 33-year-old hasn’t tasted defeat since a 2018 submission loss — at the literal last second — to Paul Craig. Ankalaev stepped on the scale weighing 204.5 pounds.
Pereira (12-3) is looking to regain the light heavyweight title he lost in his last fight. “Poatan” was previously on a five-fight win streak, having successfully knocked out Khalil Rountree, Jamahal Hill and Jiri Prochazka twice. The 38-year-old enters this legacy fight weighing 204.5 pounds.
UFC 320’s main card will stream on ESPN+ pay-per-view starting at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT on Saturday. Prelims begin at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT on ESPN+ and UFC Fight Pass before moving to solely ESPN+ at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
