The Ultimate Fighting Championship‘s final pay-per-view of 2025 is now official following the UFC 323 weigh-ins.
The UFC 323 main card is headlined by a bantamweight title fight between Merab Dvalishvili and former titleholder Petr Yan. Both men had no trouble making weight for the anticipated rematch. The same can be said for the co-main event, which sees flyweight champ Alexandre Pantoja looking to hold off title challenger Joshua Van. However, two undercard fighters failed to make weight as Brunno Ferreira unprofessionally came in 3 pounds over the middleweight limit for his fight against Marvin Vettori, and Mairon Santos came in at 147.5 pounds for his featherweight bout versus Muhammadjon Naimov. Both fights will move forward, with the overweight fighters being fined a percentage of their purse.
Dvalishvili (21-4) has looked unstoppable inside the Octagon as of late. Riding an impressive 14-fight win streak, Dvalishvili previously beat Yan in a five-round fight in 2023. “The Machine” has become the undisputed best in the division since then, picking up wins against Cory Sandhagen, Sean O’Malley, Umar Nurmagomedov and more. Dvalishvili stepped on the scale weighing 135 pounds on the dot.
Meanwhile, Yan (19-5) is looking to show improvements since a decision loss two years ago. The Russian fighter has solidified his title shot by beating Yadong Song, Deiveson Figueiredo and Marcus McGhee via decision. “No Mercy” hasn’t finished a fight since 2020, but he might have to if he wishes to wear UFC gold again. Yan officially weighed 135 pounds for his title shot.
The UFC 323 main card will air live on ESPN+ pay-per-view starting at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT. Prelims begin at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT on ESPN+ and UFC Fight Pass before moving over to ESPN+ and ESPN2 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
