UFC adds Elizeu Zaleski vs. Chidi Njokuani to March 15 event

UFC welterweights Elizeu Zaleski and Chidi Njokuani have agreed to meet in the octagon when the promotion returns to the UFC APEX on March 15, multiple people told MMA Fighting.

The UFC Fight Night card is headlined by a middleweight rematch between Marvin Vettori and Roman Dolidze.

Zaleski (25-8-1) won his most recent bout in quick fashion in November, stopping Zach Scroggin in just 75 seconds after he stepped in as a replacement for Nicolas Dalby. “Capoeira” is now 3-1-1 in his past five, a run that includes a one-sided victory over Benoit Saint-Denis.

Njokuani (24-10, 1 no contest) won his past two in the UFC with decisions over Rhys McKee and Jared Gooden, rebounding from a three-fight skid between 2022 and 2023. The Bellator veteran how holds a UFC record of 4-3 and three bonuses pocketed, including performance prizes for his finishes over Marc-Andre Barriault and Dusko Todorovic in 2022.
