UFC announces Kansas debut, second quarter schedule for 2019

The UFC is coming to Kansas.

During Saturday’s UFC 232 broadcast, the promotion announced its second quarter schedule for 2019 as well as confirming its first-ever trip to “The Sunflower State” for a March 9 UFC on ESPN+ show at Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita.

No bouts were officially announced for the card. Tickets go on sale for that show Jan. 18.

The remainder of the 2019 Q2 schedule includes 10 events — three in April, three in May, and four in June — set to be broadcast on pay-per-view, ESPN, and ESPN+. Of note, ESPN cards will be split between ESPN/ESPN Deportes (main card) and ESPN+ (preliminaries), while ESPN+ cards will air in their entirety exclusively on the online streaming service.
